This is possibly one of the most original early cars we have had in our collection. With only 23,500 original miles this car has kept almost all of its original components. The interior is completely original and has not had any re upholtry work done. The matching engine runs extremely well and has never been rebuilt. The original transmission shift exceptionally and has also never been rebuilt.
1971 was the last year of the 2.2 liter engine as well as the 901 transmission which had a "dog leg" first gear. In 1971 porsche also changed a few components on the 911 models in the middle of the year. You can tell that this is a later model 911 because the fuchs were the "flat" style instead of the deep style. Also the mirror was changed through out the year of 1971 from a round mirror to a square mirror. Both of these changes continued on for the next few years in the 911 models.
